Public Transport
Sydney has a very good public transport system that allows you to travel around the city with ease. At the heart of this public transport system is the train system which has many lines going all around the city. There are many benefits to living somewhere with a good public transport system. Firstly, it allows you to save money on petrol and car running costs. This can end up saving you a good amount of money especially if you would otherwise be driving a lot. Secondly, public transport is more environmentally friendly as it is transporting multiple people at once rather than everybody having and using their own vehicles. Good public transport also means that there are less cars on the road which eases congestion if you do choose to drive. Roads
One of the problems with Sydney is that the roads can be confusing with a lot of turns. This however, is a minor problem as you can very easily get used to the layout of the roads that you use frequently. There is also always the option of using a GPS system to direct you to your location. On top of this, you may not even need to use the roads that often as you can make good use of the public transport to get to most places with minimal driving. In other words, although the roads may be confusing, you can very easily mitigate this problem.
Weather
The weather in Sydney tends to be relatively mild. This can make it a very easy place to live as you will not have to deal with extreme weather. In terms of clothes this means that you can have a healthy mix of both warmer and colder clothes without having any particular need for any type of clothing. If you are the kind of person that likes to wear certain kinds of clothing, being able to wear whatever you want with minimal discomfort can be very nice.
Living in a city
As Sydney is a large city, moving to it has many of the same pros and cons as moving to other cities. Access to services that you may need urgently can be very useful. Less developed or rural areas may have issues getting to places such as hospitals on short notice but, this isn't an issue with living in the city. One thing to be mindful of however is that it will be louder and more busy feeling than if you were to live in a rural area. For some this may be a downside, but for others it could make the prospect of moving more attractive. As there are more people there are more job opportunities in the city as well.
