Weather
Every city in Australia has different weather. This is something that you will want to consider when you are looking at which city you want to move to. When you are looking at cities to move to, you will want to consider your career. This means thinking about the potential job opportunities there are in a city for your field of work. It is important to consider both quantity and quality. On one hand, you need to have job opportunities that will progress your career. You don't want to get a mediocre job that you either don't enjoy, doesn't pay enough, or doesn't have any opportunities for you to grow. On the other hand, you want there to be enough jobs there, that you can be confident in your ability to find work. If a city has a lack of jobs in your field, there may be a large amount of competition for any roles that are available. This would mean that you may find it very hard to get a job.
Hobbies
You will want to consider the various things in your life that bring you joy. There is no point in living somewhere if it doesn't facilitate the activities that you love. For example, if you love surfing, you will not want to move to an inland city. There will always be plenty of options for places that do suit your hobbies, so there is no need to go somewhere that doesn't. It isn't always enough to live somewhere that allows you to do your hobbies. If possible, you will want to live somewhere that makes your hobbies easy to do. To go back to the surfing example, if you like surfing, you will want to live somewhere with great surf beaches such as the Gold Coast.
Education
If you or someone that you live with is studying, you will want to consider what the options are for studying. This means looking at the various different schools or universities that are available in a city. With university in particular, you will want to live near a university that suits your needs. Especially if you are doing a course in a field that is very competitive, you will want to make sure that your place of study is somewhere that is suitable for your course.
